Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's skilled in playing comedy and dramatic characters. His professional career has seen him play a variety of love-interest characters and he's appeared in some action thrillers. When he was still in his teens, he began to develop an interest in both acting and performing. In the later years, when he was a youngster, he attempted stand-up comedy. He had a failed comedy career but this paved the path for his career as an actor. As he was not able to become an actor, he decided to become a television cameraman. In the course of working, he began to realize that he really wanted to be present on camera. He was offered a TV show and he appeared in several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor made him popular in TV. Following the success of his film career, his humorous performances brought him a lot of fame. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities as an actor and also started to pursue direction and production. He received several nominations and awards for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
