Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is best known for films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16, Alexandra played the leading character in various TV dramas. She was praised for her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge.
