 Charlotte Church, a Welsh actor, singer-songwriter, and TV presenter who has an estimated net worth of $8 million. She is also an activist in politics. When she was 11 she made her first job in the world of music. At the age of 11, she received her first break into the industry of music in 1997. Her parents divorced at the time she was born. The divorce was finalized in 1991, and her mother got married again in 1992. James Church, her stepfather, took her in 1999 as a foster child. Church was raised Roman Catholic. Charlotte started her musical career in 1997, at 11 years old. On the British TV show This Morning, she sang Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu". She also performed on ITV's Big Big Talent Show that year. Rupert Murdoch hired Church in 1999 to sing "Pie Jesu". Church's connections resulted in performances at a variety of famous venues, including the Royal Albert Hall. Church also performed for the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey, in Belgium. Church was granted a scholarship to Howell's School Llandaff, Cardiff in 1998 to study vocal technique. Church completed her the high school a year later.
